Moving In Day
Moving-in day is around the corner and we can’t wait to welcome you to your new home from home. The student accommodation team will be on hand to make sure you settle in and have everything you need when you arrive.
If you have received confirmation of your accommodation place, you will receive further information from the Accommodation Team via email, so keep an eye on your inbox! There’s also a full list of FAQ’s below.
Academy Apartments
Academy Apartments is a great base for kicking off your uni experience. It’s exclusive to UA92 students so you’ll be surrounded by people who are also studying at UA92. Make sure you introduce yourself to your neighbours as everyone will be in the same boat when you move in.
You will find lot’s going on in the surrounding area with shops, parks and food places (Nandos), right on your doorstep. Your just a short walk from the Old Trafford Metrolink stop so you can be in the city-centre in under 10 mins.

For those staying in Academy Apartments, make your way across the road (literally!) to our campus.
All rules and contracts will be sent to you individually before you move in.
If you are having people overnight, family members are welcome to stay with you in your new room. Of course, there are also many hotels in the surrounding area to check out!
There is a code lock to enter the building.
Of course ✨ just make sure nothing does any damage to the paintwork (for example, don’t nail stuff to the wall!) as you don’t want to lose your deposit.
Within walking distance of Academy Apartments is a big Tesco, Aldi, and M&S. There is also a small convenience store right underneath your apartment in the same building!
Academy Apartments has laundry rooms situated on each floor, which are free to use.

All white goods are included in the apartment (like your fridge), but you will be sent a list of what is needed prior to moving in.
