Shopping
There are plenty of places to go shopping in Manchester. The city centre alone is where you can find the Arndale shopping centre, as well as the high street, and is only a short tram ride from the Old Trafford Campus, or a short walk from the Business School. There is also the Trafford Centre in Stretford, which you can travel to by car, bus or tram. There you can find shops, restaurants, a cinema and dozens of fun activities to do.
Nights out
Manchester is renowned for a great student night out and there’s no shortage of nightlife options to explore. Whether you want to catch some live music in an independent venue, try a cheap club night at 42’s, or grab all your friends for a karaoke session at K2, there’s something for everyone!
Nature
Although it’s known for its industrial history, a recent study shows that over 50% of urban Manchester is green space. From local parks and community gardens to country estates and national parks, there are plenty of places to explore and connect with nature in and around Manchester.
