Our 36,000 square foot business school includes modern classrooms, breakout areas and collaboration spaces. You’ll have access to first-class learning facilities and social spaces across 4 floors. 

There’s also student kitchen areas and chill out zones for socialising with friends or enjoying a game of table tennis.

LOCAL AREA

If you are based at UA92 Business School, you are lucky enough to be located in one of the busiest and most vibrant areas of Manchester; Spinningfields, where you’ll find lots of cafes, shops, restaurants, museums and mini supermarkets.  

A short walk will bring you to Deansgate, Market Street, Arndale shopping centre and the Printworks, all worth exploring as a new student in the city. 

TRAVEL & TRANSPORT

The UA92 Business School is across the road from Salford Central Station, providing excellent transport links to the rest of Manchester and beyond. The Metrolink (tram) is also a popular option with the closest stop (St Peter’s Square) approximately 10-mins away on foot. 

There’s also a free bus service which will take you around the city. It runs every 10 minutes and you can jump on and off as many times as you like.

UA92 Business School FAQs

As we are located in the city-centre, parking can be expensive. We encourage you to use public transport where possible. If you plan on driving there are a number of car parks close by, where you can pay to park. The three nearest ones are:  

  • Browncross Street Car Park 
  • Manchester Bridge Street Car Park 
  • NCP Salford New Bailey 

If you’re happy to walk a bit further, there are many more w public car parks within walking distance, and you’ll probably pay a bit less. The Parkopedia site details a number of these options. 

There is secure bike storage available at a one-off £10 fee. This gets you a pass that you can keep for the duration of your studies. 

Yes – there are individual shower cubicles at the Business School. 

Our main campus has a gym that you can join or there are plenty of gyms within a short walk that offer student discounted rates.

The UA92 Business School is home to our business students.

Yes – the campus is fitted with modern kitchen facilities for you to use. There is a fridge and microwave on the ground floor and fifth floor. There is also a zip tap on the ground floor, 4th floor, and 5th floor with hot and cold water. Each have instructions above on how to use. 

Café Nero is less than a minutes’ walk away! 

Yes – the UA92 Business School can only be entered with a key card. You will receive this once you become a student. If there is any delay to this process, you’ll be allocated a temporary pass to get in and out, and there are always friendly receptionists at the front desk to help you get around!

  • Friday: 08:30am-18:30pm 

Hop on the Metrolink at Deansgate or St Peter’s Square, around a 10-minute walk away from the UA92 Business School. You’ll want to look for a tram heading to Altrincham and hop off at Old Trafford. You’re then only a minutes’ walk away from our UA92 Main Campus! 

Alternatively, there are bus routes you can take between the campuses. 

The Business School is full of flexible spaces including classrooms, group study booths, and social spaces. Not to mention the popular game stations, great for a bit of friendly competition in between studying! 

All students also have access to an on-campus Contemplation Room, which is a quiet space for prayer, meditation or just to take some time out.
